Is it just me, or did August fly by? One moment I was busy juggling, and the next I finally reached some sort of equilibrium. It still feels like yesterday when I wore this outrageous top Leeyong gave me and hosted an intimate dinner soiree for my besties, attended the relaunch of David’s Restaurant in Prahran where I reminisced childhood days and dishes in Shanghai, joined Zara as they opened their second celebrated store in Chadstone, and indulged in my very first La Mer facial.
This week I showcased 3 videos: my very first V-log post about shoes, the exclusive interview of a Melbourne label you have to know, A Part Of Me (above), attended Fashion Exposed as one of their Media partners (see my interview with them here),
And thirdly this video: last week I was flown up to Sydney to attend Ecco’s World’s Longest Catwalk, and then replenished the calories walked off by a memorable lunch at Black by Ezard (above). Did you see the melting chocolate ball that still haunts my sweet dreams?
My taste buds were gratified at La Dolce Italia, the annual Italian cultural festival, and my visual sensors were heightened by the incredible art works showcased from Howtan Re (see above). In one day, I devoured an entire jar of Passionfruit Butter by Sally McNally, because its heavenly flavour completely destroyed my self-control. I mingled with socialites (see below) at the charity lunch hosted at Circa for Prahran Mission whilst we gazed upon beautiful models decked in Madam Virtue splendour.
For the first time in my life, I translated a wedding service for a pair of amazing friends in Mandarin, the catalyst for making this blog bilingual. And on the right, the incredible Adolfo Dominguez gown that I depicted in black and white, much to the shock and horror of my great friend and photographer Karen Woo :) (sorry Karen!)
And last but not least, I’m about to give away this beautiful Warehouse dress and a pair of Tom Gunn shoes in this competition! The winner will be picked in less than 48 hours! [Enter Now To Win]!
I’m heading to the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week Opening Gala tonight and spending the rest of the weekend vetting. What are you up to this weekend?
