About Cecylia
‘Fashion has always been my first love.‘
Cecylia is a twenty-something year old veterinarian who despite loves treating kittens and operating on puppies, has always dreamt of working in fashion. She always had a text book in one hand and a fashion magazine in the other. As of 2010, her dream has been realised, she became the proud owner of her self-titled boutique on High St Armadale. Cecylia, the boutique was renowned for its first-class customer service, supporting its philosophy that ‘Shopping should be an experience, not just a transaction.‘
Cecylia hosted biannual runways shows for her customers so they could get an exclusive viewing of designer collections that were not available elsewhere in Australia. The boutique stocked the best Australian designers including Gail Sorronda, Karla Spetic, Sara Phillips and exclusive international designers such as Roksanda Ilincic, Sophia Kokosalaki, Felder Felder, Aris Geldis and Spijkers en Spijkers. Cecylia was also the largest stockist of iconic French Repetto shoes in Melbourne. In July 2011, Cecylia’s business partner decided to leave the fashion industry and as a result, the boutique was closed.
Cecylia is still continuing the legacy of her boutique which aimed to support talented designers from all over the world on her style blog. She is now a fashion blogger, a stylist, a vet and also works as a TV extra in her spare time.
Cecylia’s style philosophy is that ‘Everyday is worth dressing up for.’ In her free time, she loves singing, dancing, playing piano, vintage shopping and eating curry laksa.

Awesome how you can work as a vet and still run a business! Superwoman indeed. Looks like the kids will have to wait…
Hi Cecylia,
We met & took a photograph together with my sister in law at Miss Lydel Yeo’s Spring fashion launch. We were both wearing our pearls and black dresses. Thank you for your name card. I went on your website and your shop looks beautiful. I will be sure to pop into your store! It is amazing that you are practising as a Vet & have created a beautiful boutique, it was lovely to meet you that evening.
Regards,
Hitomi xo

Cecylia girl – Congratulations on your new venture! I just looked through your blog, and I love it!
I wish you all the best blessings with your Fashion career path. :)
Gosh, it feels like it was only yesterday that we were confused Uni students walking around the campus going to our classes… (At least I was!) And now you are on your pathway to becoming a big fashionista and me… well.. across the globe right now doing practically nothing haha.
:) :) Keep up the good work! I’ll be back here soon to visit.
PS I love the recent coverage on RMIT designer students’ works. Keep more of those coming! We got a lot of talented Melbourne designers that should be promoted.
