Happy Monday lovelies! Ah I can’t believe I’ve only 1 week left before we head off to the US for our babymoon. I haven’t been on an overseas holiday with hubby for over a year and a half. And to be honest, before we even had the opportunity to go, I went through a grumpy period. I haven’t been on holidays in a year and a half. Sure, as a fashion blogger, I had day trips to Sydney, fashion week stays and even a 3 day road trip, but I haven’t had an exploratory journey in a foreign city for 18 months, since [THIS TRIP].

Every time a friend, a colleague, or a client told me about their trips to Europe, to the US, or their boat cruise, my envious mood would get a shade greener. All these comments from friends about the decreasing likelihood for us to travel after MiniKee is born only added to the pain. But after a month of pining and lamenting, I finally realised something. I don’t need to go on a holiday to be happy. Having a good balance of work, play and rest is all I need. So even if I can’t ever travel ever again, I’ll be ok with it. And so of course, a miracle resulted from this grateful heart.

We are flying off in exactly a week! I’ve been so busy with work and blogging commitments I haven’t even started packing. Normally the intense excitement literally transforms me into the cross between a packer with ADHD and a child intoxicated with red cordial. But this time I’ve been spared. I’ve not had the time to enter ‘excitement’ mode yet. So no doubt, as the departure date dawns, you will see an increasingly exuberant Cecylia: foaming with fashion frenzy, developing delirium from Disneyland delight, and shedding my vet persona, morphing into a full-mode blogger.

[spoiler title=”中文版”]星期一快乐！啊，我不感相信，只剩下1个星期我们即将去我们的美国“宝宝蜜月”。我已经超过一年半没有与丈夫在海外假期了。说实话，在我们准备去美国只先，我经历了一段抱怨的时期。因为我很久没有度假了。当然，通过我的时尚博客，我有机会在悉尼时装周住宿，甚至3天的客场之旅一日游，但我前段镇子还有一点不满。
几乎每天有朋友，同事或客户告诉我他们即将前往欧洲，美国或上他们的游船。我好羡慕啊。更何况很多人说一当宝宝生后，就更没有机会去旅行了，我的心情好底。但经过一个月的渴望和感叹，我终于明白了一件事。我并不需要去度期而拥有一个良好的工作，娱乐和休息的平衡。只要心里知足，感恩，就很喜乐了 。因此，就算我永远没有机会去旅行，我也会喜乐。神很幽默，一当我学会了这场功课，祂就给了我们去纽约的机会。

在等整整一个星期我们就起飞了！最近我一直忙于工作和博客，我还没开始打理呢。通常情况下，我一个月前都已经把箱包整理好了。但当你怀孕的时候，你必须等到最后几天才知道哪些衣服能带去度假。。。
