This Mercedez-Benz Australian Fashion Week has been one of my favourite holidays ever. Not only because there was great company (I’m looking at you Jess, Dan, Karen, Alan, June, Jason and Jensen ), or because the drop-dead-gorgeous fash pack that tirelessly stimulated our visual senses and satisfied our thirst for style (ok too many to name, but you know who you are), but because I fell in love with the apartment I got to call ‘home’ for 4 days.

I used to be fiercely independent, being an only child and tomboy has its perks but after marrying one of the most capable men in the world (my husband Chian, in case you’re wondering), I lost all self-coping-mechanisms including the ability to navigate, instigate and not being late. I’ve never really travelled by myself as Chian is my safety blanket, photographer and GPS (you see I’m his packer and protector on public transport) so needless to say I was a little fearful coming to Sydney on my own (as not everyone in Sydney is as lovely as Jason).

But God is good. He provided Lloyd Suttor (so inspiring, generous and caring) and his Golden Grove apartment to be my shelter and solace. The apartment is super well-equipped (the pantry is fully loaded and you can even do your laundry!), there’s free Wi-Fi, amazing art and state-of-the-art-facilities, it’s only 2 minutes walk away (in 7 inch heels may I add) from Carriageworks. I love it that it’s nicely tucked away, secluded and secure so that I could remove myself from the crowd; relax, blog and count all the Mercedez-Benz cars that go by from the kitchen window.

[spoiler title=”中文版”]这次的Mercedez-Benz奔驰澳大利亚时装周是我目前来最喜欢的假日。这不仅是因为在悉尼我有很棒的朋友（许多墨尔本朋友也在悉尼参加时装周），也不尽因为到处都是华丽的服装，而是因为我没能在这安静，温馨的公寓了待上了4天，它成了我在悉尼的’家’。 小时候我十分独立，可能因为我是个独生女，而且有点假小子性格。但结婚后，（我的丈夫是世界上其中一位最能干的男人），我失去了独立能力，包括取向方向的能力。我从来没有自己旅游，丈夫是我的护卫者，摄影师和全球定位系统（GPS）（我是他的行李收拾人和在公共交通上的保护者），因此一个人来悉尼我还真有点恐惧感。但你们若在Instagram上看到了我的照片一定会觉得难以相信。 神真好。他提供了Lloyd Suttor（这位伯伯如此的慷慨和厚道），他的Golden Grove公寓成为了我的庇护和安慰。公寓的装备超级精良（厨房道具十分，全备，你甚至能洗你的衣物！），有免费无线网络连接和惊致的艺术，它离开时装周地点Carriageworks仅仅2分钟步行（而且是穿这高跟鞋走路算的！）我喜欢它好安静，好隐蔽和安全，这样秀结束后我可以离开人群，在自己的公寓里放松地写博客，并看着一辆接着一辆的Mercedez-Benz奔驰轿车从厨房窗户经过。
