Ok you and I have been in this cyber read-lationship for a while now, some of you have been reading Cecylia.com for over 2 years, so I feel like I trust you enough to finally show you a bit of our home as well as some of my new acquisitions :)

Betcha didn’t think that you could shop and save! You may be no stranger to the worldwide Fashion Target Breast Cancer campaigns, like the first collection of colourful polo T-shirts designed by Ralph Lauren, donned by beautiful leggy models. This year our Aussie high street chains: Cue, Metalicus, Seafolly, Peep Toe, Secrets, Seduce and Cotton On have put on their philantrophic hats and have created a range of black and white pieces for the 2011 campaign and are donating a quarter of the proceeds to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to assist young women battling this lethal disease. You and I may not be able to do any research or much counselling, but we can shop, and we can save lives!
I also dance with excitement to announce the winner of the divine EDENBOROUGH EVANS double ring gift-away- congratulations Michelle! Wear it well dear! Thank you all for entering the competition. Well you what that means! When the winner is announced, it means there’s a new competition this Friday! Here’s a hint, we can never have too many of these!

Stunning Front Window at Peony Melbourne
A spread worthy of Marie Antoinette
A few nights ago I had the utmost pleasure of attending the heavenly scented event at Peony Melbourne Haute Parfumerie for the launch of the recreation of Marie Antoinette‘s perfume, Black Jade, created by Lubin. Guests sipped on French champagne in hand-etched crystal flutes and were treated to the most decadent spread of French desserts and savoury delights. The stunning cake sculpture you see above of icing, fresh peonies, orchids and feather plumes was not by a cake shop but by the talented Ben at Domain Flowers!
Attendees at Peony Melbourne included the lovely Kyra (Pybus PR) and Nish (the most helpful and handsome barman!), Marianne (Esme & the Laneway) and John, Alicia (Sea of Ghost), Cheryl (Business Chic), Gaby (designer, Hopeless Lingerie), Tania (Fashionising), Phoebe (Lady Melbourne) and Aaron, Sarah (Style Melbourne), Ramona (stylist for Project Runway) and her friend, and Theodore! Recently Melbourne Central invited me to select 5 favourite Spring Racing accessories from a myriad of their amazing boutiques, to be featured in ‘The Accessory Cube’, a Pop-Up store to get us Races-ready. Spring Racing fashion isn’t just about the dress, the emphasis is on the entire ensemble. And as we all know, the right accessories can dramatically up the style ante. I had a ball choosing the pieces but it was no easy feat, I felt like a judge at Fashion Stakes! After much wandering around the centre and deciding, I am proud to announce these favourites:
