As you may know, I rarely wear black. I went through an exclusive-black period during my teenage years, hence nowadays I tend to opt for colour and white (I’d wear white more if I was less clumsy and have such a disposition to ‘colouring-in’ white dresses with food). But when I spotted this little black silk jersey number on the Nu Couché website, (thank you Kimberley for the introduction to this exquisite Melbourne-made label), I had to have it. And what greater place to show off its bare back than at MSFW, even if it did mean I had to go ‘free-range’…
Nu Couché dress/Sarah Conners bag/ Ghost & Lola ring & bracelet/ Vintage earrings, brooch & shoes
I am a self-professed clutch-addict (yes I admitted it here), so it was only natural for me to have the blue version of my favourite Sarah Conners bag as well as the green. The leather is so butter-soft it’s pure tactile indulgence. As for the crucifix ring and Medieval-esque bracelet, they are hand-made from vintage elements by Sydney jewellery label Ghost & Lola. The reason why these photos are taken in the car park is because I’m always getting changed in the car…now that would make an interesting video blog post :) Have you worn a backless black dress before? How do you style it?

Very glamorous!! It has an old Hollywood feel to it. I love the pop of blue you added. I “color in” white clothing with food too. It’s like I have a hole in my mouth or something LOL
