What's cuter than a Guide Dog Puppy?
Happy Friday lovelies! Are you enjoying the fashion week coverage so far? I’ve been so blessed this year to be able to attend so many shows, breakfasts and luncheons, who knew that fashion and food go so fabulously together! Well, actually, it’s not really a secret is it? One of these divine feasts was the Flemington Spring Racing Lunch at VRC, hosted by MYER. A little side-track to MSFW, I thought you’ll enjoy these pretty snaps, courtesy of my Samsung Nexus, to get you in the mood for the Races which is galloping just around the corner in our social calendar! I was in the exquisite company of Sarah Kempson (Onya Magazine), Suzanne Carbone (The Age, Postcode 3000), Mik Grigg (Sunday Age Social columnist) and Luke Dennehy (Sunday Herald Sun). Kris Smith and Rebecca Judd sat on the table next to ours. And it’s always a delight to catch up with my blogger girlfriends Jess (What Would Karl Do), Sarah (Style Melbourne) and Phoebe (Lady Melbourne).

With so many fine ladies decked up in pretty Racing dresses, it was so refreshing to see some Jil Sander in the house (you should know by now how I adore Jil Sander, if you don’t, please turn your gaze here, here and here), and so of course, leave it to the Grazia fashion editor Emma Read (a Drew Barrymore-lookalike in my opinion…) to up the spring style ante with her fluoro shift top and that paisely print skirt. Naturally, she looks like she’s about to head to a fashion show. Do you think that fashion editors all look like they’re dressed for fashion week every day? And hey, a stylish lunch is not complete without celebrities and music! So I present to you, the stunning Lisa McCune singing a tune from the musical-of-the-moment South Pacific about being “in love with a wonderful guy…’ Enjoy!

Omg, I’m so jealous! I’ve already started classes and totally forgot about fashion week :( but you look gorgeous, and have officially disproved that all runway models frown. In fact those models looked so beautiful with those smiles! What nail polish were you wearing?
