Fringe Festival

Hello lovelies! How are you enjoying the gorgeous spring weather we’ve been blessed with so far? Last night Melbourne Town Hall showcased an array of the hottest Australian designers in MSFW‘s Designer Series Runways featuring Aurelio Costarella, Christine, Ellery, Gwendolynne, LuiHon, Maticevski, Michael Lo Sordo and Scanlan & Theodore. I was completely captivated by Gwendolynne’s gowns and Richard Nylon’s exquisite hair nets, and am having withdrawals from LuiHon’s beautiful fringe pants and tailored peplum jackets. One of the highlights of last night for me was Christine: a remarkable illustration of her buying expertise and impeccable styling by Peter Simon Phillips, the show was a feast for the eyes and a must-see for the not-so-faint-hearted. With a penchant for decorative prints and grand accessories, Christine’s models brought an air of European flair to the heart of Melbourne. Nowhere else will you see Etro and Lanvin live so happily ever after.
