Since its very inception I knew that Melbourne based shoe label Habbot was going to make it big. It was Rosemount Fashion Week in Sydney when I first met designer Annie Abbot and her Habbot shoes. I was instantly drawn to her warm and infectious laugh, but at the same time could not stop staring at her sleek kicks in the brightest crimson. Fast forward three years, and I am so privileged to call her my friend.
Annie has worked as a buyer for Net-a-Porter and a business strategist for Sass and Bide in a past life, so it’s little wonder that she knew all the right steps to make her label a success. Although she designs all of her beautiful creations right here in Australia, she manufactures in Italy, ensuring her shoes are the product of fine Italian craftsmanship. I think of them as luxury shoes without the luxury price tag. The designs are fuss-free and super comfortable and no doubt you will have seen me wear my Habbot shoes over the past three years on this blog. Here Annie is wearing a Veronica Maine dress and the Habbot sparkly “Dee” brogues.
Growing in leaps and bounds, Habbot opened its third store in Melbourne’s newest shopping mecca, The Strand, last night. Fashionistas, family and friends flocked to the boutique to see the new collection, ‘Alice in Wonderland’. As I stood there munching on a delicious salted caramel eclair, hubby said to me “Honey, you need new shoes!” You know Habbot is onto a good thing when your husband encourages you to buy shoes! Can you guess which pair I chose?

P.S. It was such a pleasure to meet Meg, one of Habbot’s sales consultants, who religiously reads my blog! Be sure to say ‘Hi’ to her when you visit the store!
Hi there,
My name is Alice Brooks and I am working for PR company Girl About Town, I was hoping we might be able to get an email for you, so that we can put it in our database for upcoming fashion events?
Thanks,
Alice.
What incredible shoes. Looks like I need to go check them out.
I love the mint and sparkle ones the most… Which ones did you pick I’m intrigued!

Thanks Roge! Can’t wait to see which shoes are your favourite!
I’m looking forward to seeing what shoes you bought in the end, you’ve photographed lots of nice ones :) I really want to see more of the yellow ones for some reason, maybe as the weather is warming up and calling for bright cheerful colours! :)
I know what you mean, it’s amazing how the weather can have such a big impact on our moods! Habbot has such gorgeous colour combinations!
The shoes look amazing
