Karla Spetic Dress / Vintage Scarf & Clutch / Lovisa Rings
When I was in the States, much to my surprise, I caught the shopping bug. I didn’t expect the retail virus to infect a rather immune and pregnant person like me. Since I’ve been pregnant, I’ve halted the shopping reigns. But as soon as the plane landed, I was off. In LA it was Ravishing Resale, and in New York, it was the mecca of it all, Bergdorf Goodman. Honestly, I could live there in the change rooms. Each level was spaciously stocked with luscious winter-wear. So luckily, thanks to a baby belly and the opposite-season-factor, I wasn’t as tempted. Although I did drool, sartorially. Just as well, otherwise, my credit card bill would have amounted to the equivalent of my obstetrician bill, which is quite a sum… So I attributed the hours of meanderings to ‘research‘. At least I’ll know what trends to adopt after miniKee is born. Thankfully, I packed this Karla Spetic silk shift from my previous boutique. The flirty chiffon sleeves were perfect for waving to friends at the Emerson fashion show and to waiters at The Smith.

当我在美国的时候，出乎我的意料的事情发生了，我突然很想购物。没想到时装周的零售“病毒”竟然感染上了我。我这么多月怀孕的时候，并没有什么购物瘾。但是，一旦飞机降落后，我就上瘾了。在洛杉矶的时候，我去了二手店Ravishing Resale，在纽约，最让我回味的是著名的商店Bergdorf Goodman。老实说，我可以住在这里，睡在换房间里。每层楼都摆设了优美的冬季时装。还算好，由于我有婴儿肚而且澳洲季节相反的因素，我没有那么动心，信用卡也没有被滥用。我将那些浏览的时间类为’研究’。至少，我知道宝宝出生后，明年的时装是什么。这次旅游庆幸的是，我带上了这条从我以前的精品店来的 Karla Spetic 丝绸裙。轻浮的雪纺袖让我能在Emerson时装秀向朋友，和在The Smith餐馆对服务员优雅地招手。[/spoiler]
