Do you recall my dresser looking a little more like a jumble sale here? I vowed last month that I’d clean out my wardrobe and start living like a detoxed woman high on vegie juice (OK maybe not the juice part. I’m more of a solids girl). I must admit, the process took longer than I’d hoped. Procrastination in the disguise of laziness came to visit. Many times. It wasn’t until I was completely exhilarated by Pinterest, and the arrival of beautiful jewels from Miss Bibi and Parisian Street Society that kick-started a radical dresser-transformation. So, from this, to this:

Foreground: Parisian Street Society Cuff / Background: Roksanda Ilincic Dress

On Wagner: Vintage anklet / On Beethoven: Sportsgirl neckcuff, Miss Bibi Pebble-Face necklace / Trinket Box: Miss Bibi rings & Gun brooch

From L to R: Porcelain toilet necklace, Porcelain ring, Beaded ring, Gold Button earrings, all Miss Bibi

On Wedding Photo: Miss Bibi Two Timing necklace / On Bach: Miss Bibi Match stick bracelet & Vintage necklace

Trinket Box:  Stiletto Ring, Lobster Ring, Thimble Ring & Gun Brooch, all Miss Bibi

So how did I go? What do you think of the transformation? I feel quite invigorated by the change. Even Theodore agrees with me that Less really is More!

I hope you’ve been inspired to give your dresser a little TLC this weekend too. Head to Pinterest for more visual stimulation. You can always treat yourself to a beautiful Cire Trudon candle afterwards :)
