Sing me the blues

Happy Monday everyone! How was your weekend? I had an amazing time catching up with fashionistas over cakes and styling with a gorgeous team for a video and photo shoot. Cannot wait to show you the final result in a few weeks!

A little while back I collaborated with 2 beautiful and talented ladies, Miss Aimmey and Karen from Finessence Photography. You may recall Aimmey dolling me up for the Mission 65 event here, and the latest photos on my blog taken by Finessence were on ML Vintage. We spent an afternoon creating these photos for you. I know I’m no model but it was a last minute shoot so we didn’t have much time to get a model, so I had to play the part. Any constructive suggestions about these photos especially with my posing are welcome!

Shop Chic Boutique

Our boutique features a photo wall which sets a backdrop for our chic customers who don’t mind sharing a Kodak moment with us. We take photos of them and then feature them on our Shop Chic blog.

I will set an example and started the photo wall off.

Posing next to a mannequin wearing a Karla Spetic creation. The golden bow belt is from Alldressedup. I am wearing my Chloe pumps and vintage everything-else.

This is Jess, the beautiful creator of ‘What Would Karl Do? blog‘. She is the happy new owner of this divine Karla Spetic white silk dress. The chiffon one shouldered sleeve is so romantic. Jess has the Klein suede heels on from Repetto.

The orange scarf is actually a knitted skirt. It looks great as a bolero too.
