Earlier in the year, I preordered a skirt from Livia Arena. If you’re not aware of my love affair with her structural and effortless pieces, please have a squiz [HERE], [HERE] and [HERE]. This wool skater skirt ticked all the boxes: comfort, elegance and an element of surprise. Trust her to come up with pockets lined with mesh!
My waist is nothing like what it used to be. I used to be able to blame it on the baby, but 7 months later, the culprit is largely a combination of cakes, chocolate and carbs. In that order. But I promise, once I stop breastfeeding I’ll go back to running. Or maybe I’ll exercise when I get a pair of really snazzy trainers…
In the meantime, I’ll just keep ‘upper body training’ with some baby-carrying and pet-lifting at the clinic. Maybe I could just copy Winston when he’s doing ‘push-ups’ during ‘tummy-time’? But curling up in bed with a block of Belgian chocolate seems like so much more fun… How do you keep in shape in winter?

Skirts with pockets are the best, I mean who doesn’t love pockets. You look fantastic, it’s a great look from head to toe. And your body looks amazing.
