5 Ways to Love Atropa

by cecylia on March 9, 2012

Atropa Dress Look One: As Is

Recently, Atropa, the brainchild of Melbourne-based designer Scott Marsh, contacted me as he knew how much I love supporting Australian-made designers. Atropa was founded in 2011 by the RMIT fashion graduate and each garment is designed, developed and made in Brunswick. I chose the most quirky dress from his collection, the Gasper Shift to entertain you all.

Teaming the dress with my new favourite heels by Habbot and my Jerome Dreyfuss ‘Oscar’ clutch in 5 different ways, let me know which is your favourite!

Look 2: As a Top

Habbot Tightrope Shoes

The full Look 2

Look 3: As a Strapless Dress

Look 4: As a (pouched) Skirt

Look 5: As a Mini dress

And then I tried the dress as a turban for look 6 but got mixed results and conflicting reviews so I thought I’d leave it at that. What do you think?

Atropa is giving away a Gasper shift to one of my lovely readers. Please let me know which colour you would like- the Pink Polka Dotted (pink dress with white dots, for the girl who’s anything but a wallflower :), Black Polka Dotted (black dress with white dots) or plain Black and of course, your size (Small, Medium or Large). So many choices! :)

All you need to do is EITHER:

Share this post (http://wp.me/pABqR-2lY) on your Facebook Wall

OR

Add me to your Google+ Circle

But that’s not all, Scott is so generous, he’s also giving away 3 x 50% GIFT VOUCHERS for his beautiful online store! Sounds too good to be true? *pinch* I’m for real! We will be announcing the winners on 21st March!

And a special insiders mention for my Sydney friends, PREMIERE is on this weekend! The biannual trade fair offers visitors to preview the latest collections from a curated selection of Australian and international designers in a sartorial boutique atmosphere. You may recall my visit to the Melbourne Premiere event here last year. So whilst all the Melbournians are rubbing shoulders with the fashion elites this weekend at LMFF, there’s a huge fashion showing near you!

So with that, hats off to you all, I’m off to Malaysia! Only a good friend is willing to skip fashion week for their friend’s wedding. Feel free to steal this quote.

Make up by: Vicki,  contact her at +61 423 717 957 for fashion, special events and wedding makeup

Where: on an urban stroll

Wear: Atropa Gasper Shift, Miss Sixty cardigan, vintage pants, Habbot Tightrope heels, Jerome Dreyfuss bag
