When our boutique opened, friends and family flocked for a little party. There were lots of finger food, beautiful conversations and warm memories from that night. It was so sweet to see so much support from our loved ones.
This is Jin – my lovely graphic designer who designed our shop logo, see here. You will see that she has incorporated the cupcake, the bow as well as coat hangers onto our frame. These embody ‘sweet, chic, boutique.’
Jin is so sweet she even got me a celebratory cupcake, even though we had gorgeous ones made by Cupcake Central.
The icing is the same colour as my jacket! I ate it in 2 bites.
Jin’s admiring the light shoulder pads in a Felder Felder bodycon dress.
Here is the beautiful Vicki. You would have seen here on this post.
Here I am delivering an emotional thank-you speech to family and friends. I’m wearing a navy jumpsuit I got from Paris, vintage brooch and Zara blazer.
Jin’s amazing big bag is a vintage find. Vicki snatched up a beautiful silk clutch from Alldressedup that night. Our boutique would not be alive without the love and support of our friends. I love you all!

[…] by cecylia on October 2, 2011 Growing up, I was always a tomboy who loved playing sport, arm wrestling and racing with the boys. One of these special childhood friends, Mick, just tied the knot with his stunning bride, Kimmy, last night. I rushed home after working as a vet and quickly got changed into my favourite tuxedo shirt, by Mr Rose, to attend their wedding. The collar of this shirt is ingenius, it has the best sleeve cuffs and an amazing chest panel. Instead of pairing it with a skirt or pants, which would be too ‘boring’, I was inspired by Net-A-Porter‘s ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’ ad, so I teamed it with a beloved tailored jumpsuit, last seen here. […]
