We established a High Tea cafe for our guests to enjoy tea, cupcakes, magazines and some catch-up time. Our cupcakes are freshly baked and the teas are from T2. We currently have mini cupcakes which are a great sweet treat and the teas are a beautiful alternative to coffee.

The mannequin is wearing a silk Spijkers en Spijkers dress (it has pockets!) and an Alldressedup necklace.

The golden chairs are hand-painted. Teas are served in antique English china. The pink cups are adorable! Look at the delicious Red Velvet mini cupcakes! You can probably see an art book under the table, it is one of Leonardo Da Vinci. The current Vogue opens up on a Street Chic page that I adore looking at.

Our cupcake and tea menu are written on the mirror. The vanilla cupcakes can be seen on the right, and below.

Sea of Cupcakes…=)

Perhaps many don’t know about this service. I highly recommend it. Where else can you sit in peace and quiet to enjoy high tea in a high end fashion boutique on High St?

When our boutique opened, friends and family flocked for a little party. There were lots of finger food, beautiful conversations and warm memories from that night. It was so sweet to see so much support from our loved ones.

This is Jin – my lovely graphic designer who designed our shop logo, see here. You will see that she has incorporated the cupcake, the bow as well as coat hangers onto our frame. These embody ‘sweet, chic, boutique.’
Jin is so sweet she even got me a celebratory cupcake, even though we had gorgeous ones made by Cupcake Central.

The icing is the same colour as my jacket! I ate it in 2 bites.

Jin’s admiring the light shoulder pads in a Felder Felder bodycon dress.

Here is the beautiful Vicki. You would have seen here on this post.

Here I am delivering an emotional thank-you speech to family and friends. I’m wearing a navy jumpsuit I got from Paris, vintage brooch and Zara blazer.

Jin’s amazing big bag is a vintage find. Vicki snatched up a beautiful silk clutch from Alldressedup that night. Our boutique would not be alive without the love and support of our friends. I love you all!

Lately I’ve been taking Theodore, my son, to work with me. He’s a great mascot for the boutique and he loves all the lovely ladies. Especially Sassy, his new canine friend, owned by a stylish Pilates teacher. Sassy is not used to such a small dog and I think she is so happy that she can finally boss someone around.

You can see beautiful Karla Spetic garments and Repetto shoes in the back ground. I am proud to announce that we are the largest stockist in Melbourne of Repetto shoes!
Look at Sassy’s grin!

Theodore look so tiny next to little Sassy.

After much sniffing, they ended up being friends and started to waltz.

Sassy certainly likes being on top!

I am proud to say that we are probably the largest supplier of Repetto shoes in Melbourne. Come and try the iconic Parisian label if you love chic and understated shoes.
Don’t forget to pat Theodore =)

Our boutique features a photo wall which sets a backdrop for our chic customers who don’t mind sharing a Kodak moment with us. We take photos of them and then feature them on our Shop Chic blog.
I will set an example and started the photo wall off.

Posing next to a mannequin wearing a Karla Spetic creation. The golden bow belt is from Alldressedup. I am wearing my Chloe pumps and vintage everything-else.

This is Jess, the beautiful creator of ‘What Would Karl Do? blog‘. She is the happy new owner of this divine Karla Spetic white silk dress. The chiffon one shouldered sleeve is so romantic. Jess has the Klein suede heels on from Repetto.
The orange scarf is actually a knitted skirt. It looks great as a bolero too.

I always have my camera ready, so come in and share some Shop Chic moments with us! We would love to snap you up!
