Spijkers en Spijkers Jacket // Dolce & Gabbana Sunglasses // Esprit Shirt // Vintage Earrings & Necklace // Karen Millen Jeans // Habbot Heels
This is the slightly modified outfit I wore to MSFW last night. I didn’t expect to be seated front row so had worn a pair of very ripped jeans complete with a grass stain on the knee from playing with my son in the park before attending the runway. The Spring Racing themed show got everyone in the mood for the carnival season. Martin Grant’s collection, accessorized with aplomb with Christine’s impeccable selection of millinery, necklaces and handbags reignited my passion for fashion again. Chic and classic will never date. Nor will polka dots, navy or a slouchy lounge suit.
On a side note, since it’s Father’s Day this Sunday, I would like to express my gratefulness to my husband. Despite his ridiculously demanding schedule (yeah it seems to run in our family), he is one of the most hands-on dads I know. He never complains about getting up multiple times a night to calm our crying little one. He is ever patient and encouraging, and jumps at the opportunity to spend time with Winston. He provides, nurtures and guides. Oh, and he even wakes up extra early just to photograph me before going to work.
Ooooh that gold blazer is beautiful, and so nice with the denim (distressed or polka dot studded, you can’t go wrong with either!)
Glad you had a fun time at the show! :)
yeah it’s quite a statement piece isn’t it? I’ve only worn it one before here: http://cecylia.com/2013/05/thrown-into-the-deep-end/
