I know it sounds like a cliche. But dreams do come true. And not just in Disneyland (though I do hope you like these photos we took when we were at LA Disneyland). Lately a friend asked me how is it that many things I do seems so effortless, especially lately with my pregnancy, baby’s delivery (you can read my husband’s account of it here), bouncing back into ‘shape’ and the beginnings of motherhood. To be perfectly honest with you, credit belongs to God. Because so many blessings have been completely beyond my control. And the more miracles and ‘coincidences’ that happened in my life, the more I realized that they couldn’t be mere coincidences.
I have never experienced the truth in this verse as much as I have this year:“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” (Proverbs 16:3) This has been the guiding light of my life. I used to be a planner, but I’ve found over the years that God’s plans are way better than mine. When I was young, I never imagined I’d come to live in Australia, receive such an excellent education, meet the friends that I love, I said I’d never get married, that I’d never have kids… but what God had in store for me have been way beyond my wildest imagination. And that’s why I cannot wait to share my experiences and adventures in 2014 with you!
So, thank you so much for a brilliant 2013, I sincerely wish you and your loved ones a joyous new year! May your dreams come true!
