The weekend we got back from New York, we were thrilled to join my vet friends for a dear one’s wedding. I said in the past that wedding guests should never wear black as I personally think it’s disrespectful. But here I am, breaking the rules. Hey, I’m allowed to play the pregnant card from time to time right? And you know what, if this dress came in red or navy I would not have hesitated to wear it to the wedding one little bit. I came across an online jewellery boutique recently: Dezz.com.au and was captivated by these 2 sparkly cross pieces (as well as many others, including these handsome vintage designer numbers). Having always wanted to wear dainty jewellery (because I’m a Francophile and we all know that the French have that famous refined aesthetic) but never thinking that I could pull it off, I was thrilled to be able to sport these Dezz pieces at the wedding. Perhaps that is the power of the cross. Once an emblem for cruel capital punishment, now the symbol of hope and freedom. Plus, silver and monochrome make quite a formidable pair wouldn’t you say!

最近我认识一个网上的珠宝精品店：Dezz.com.au。被2个闪闪发光的十字架迷住了（店里还卖很多帅气的复古设计师包包）。我一直很想穿戴纤巧的首饰（就像法国人爱精致的首饰一样），但我一直认为不是合大手大脚的我，因此我很高兴能佩戴这几件Dezz的首饰。也许这就是十字架的力量。最先是残酷死刑的会徽，现在十字架却变成了希望和自由的象征。不会是个巧合吧！
