Vintage Jumper, Necklace, Bag & Heels / Karen Millen Skirt / Nach Jewellery Ring
Not sure if it’s just me or not, but I’ve found this Melbourne winter ridiculously cold, and wet. So much so that I’ve caught my first cold this year and have resorted to cuddling up with hot soups and a warm bean bag at night. We’ve even planned a warm-weather holiday! Although next year I vote for a warmer holiday in the earlier months of winter.
An easy way to get our moods up in the cold is to wear warm-hued and brightly coloured accessories, as demonstrated here. Winter blues aside, I’ve been feeling extremely grateful for having a roof over my head at night, hearing the heavy drops over my head seems to have a soothing effect on my sleep, having heating at home, what would we have to do otherwise to keep warm? Star jumps? Wrapping ourselves in layers of cashmere? And I’m also grateful for having a car to drive through the storms. Every time I see a poor sod running through the rain without a brolly, my heart goes out to them. Sometimes I feel like pulling over to give them a ride, but usually I’m travelling in the opposite direction…
I hope that you’re all travelling well and are embarking on a beautiful weekend with your loved ones.
You are so classy Cecylia!!!! I love this touch of red!!!!!
Have a great day!
aw thank you so much Paola! xx
Such a cosy-looking outfit! I hate cold and flu season though :( I hope you get over it quickly – will be nice having heating. I do confess to having the aircon scheduled to turn on a few minutes before I get up each morning – makes it that much more pleasant! It was hubby’s idea but I’m not complaining in the slightest.
Really like the red touches with this outfit – they all tie together really nicely, and your bold lip looks great!
Love your sweater Cess, it is so Chanel!
so preppy and cute! have a nice weekend!
The red accents are perfect with this look! Love the pattern mix as well.
