Zinco top / Armand Basi skirt / Vintage necklace / Vintage Christian Dior clutch / Sonia Rykiel shoes
Was hoping to demonstrate my new-found mantra in life, Keep On Walking, but somehow I look more to be stepping in an unco manner than anything else…Following on from my professed new year’s resolution, I introduce you to 2 very neglected pieces of my wardrobe: a navy top I found in Switzerland and an Armand Basi skirt I adopted from Singapore. Once upon a time, before pink became my colour-in-chief, khaki was the Favourite. Utilitarian, military, neutral, come to think of it, fashion still loves a good khaki. The mini is well-equipped with 4 pockets, large enough to fit my entire life into, but I had to include a vintage clutch for good measure. The perfect outfit to wear to a casual BBQ to take complete advantage of the adjustable waist tie. And afterwards to work off the bangers? Just Keep on Walking.

thanks hun, Sonia Rykiel makes the best shoes! You’d know you’re French! :)
Wow, this is such a simple, well put together outfit, I just love the darker toned colors together like this! (I can’t believe I haven’t thought of wearing burgundy, navy and olive green together, it’s gorgeous.) Your necklace is just the perfect finishing item, it keep the nonchalant look going.
thanks Katie, it was actually not planned at all but I agree these dark tones worked in harmony when teamed together.
I know it’s all about the skirt, and it’s beautiful, but I really like the top! Such a nice outfit, I like the deeper tones with the navy and burgundy :)
