It’s not every day one is flown interstate for a fashion event, participate in breaking a world record, and be wined and dined at one of Sydney’s swankiest restaurants. You may recall me saying that I flew up to Sydney for a day. I was privileged to attend the World’s Longest Catwalk along the Darling Harbour, hosted by Mia Freeman, of Mamamia fame, with a group of real women including journalists, bloggers, and women from all walks of life, no pun intended. The previous world record of the longest catwalk was created in Turkey at 2.69km, but together with Scandinavian labe Ecco, we beat the previous record with our stylish and comfortable Ecco shoes! I was assigned a pair of flats, so naturally the 2.8km walk was a piece of cake, not to mention, we were blessed with an incredible day of blue skies and not a cloud in sight. After the walk, the generous ladies at Reprise Media lavished a group of bloggers the most decadent and exquisite 3 course lunch at Black by Ezard. I was surrounded in fine company by the beautiful Miss Chaigyaru, stunning Megan (also a blogger) of Reprise Media, the coolest chick ever, Phoebes of Diaries of Bella, the incredible Kelly Burstow, Be a Fun Mum, amazing Gaynor Alder, The Modern Woman’s Survival Guide, as well as Jessie of The Velvet Bow, Joelyne, The Sydney Girl and Melissa of Suger Coat It.

My raspberry icecream with shortbread and fairy cake enjoyed the Blush Treatment Thank you so much Reprise Media for having me. This day has been an experience of a lifetime. And I leave you with the sweetest of them all: the chocolate ganache ball with a dulce surprise. Warning: Oohs and Aahs Aplenty…
