The show that made my night on the 3rd day of RAFW was my dear friend Dhini’s. I was so proud of her, the collection was a breath of fresh air. It was titled ‘Birth’ as it symbolized a new chapter of Dhini’s life and creative energy. Lady Melbourne and I were stoked to run into each other. She just came up for RAFW. Tis great to see more bloggers from Melbourne on Sydney’s turf!

Seeing Oliver and Julien always brought a smile to my face. I always get wadrobe envy when I see him, I want those leggings! How much fun it would have been if Theodore had been there, our darling pooches would wave to each other across the catwalk!
Below are 3 of my favourite looks from Dhini – not from a buyer’s perspective, but from my own. There were many other looks I loved, like the mint sheer silk playsuit, but my camera didn’t get good enough shots of it. To see better pictures of Dhini’s entire collection, please click here.

Birds chipred, models glided across the runway, butterflies were everywhere, including in my tummy. I was in awe of this mezmerising collection. I have never seen the front row pull out their iphones so fast when the First Face appeared- none other than a Dhini devotee, Eleanor Bailieu, our premier’s 17 years old daughter.

Eleanor both opened and closed the show for Dhini and walked exclusively for her show. Eleanor is in year 12 and wants to travel after high school. Guess who will be designing her formal dress?

This is the yummiest mummy in the crowd, Alice, Dhini’s sales agent. Alice is also Marnie Skilling’s business partner and also represents Karla Spetic. Alice’s style always inspires me. Here she is wearing a Miu Miu jumper dress with Dhini leggins. Yesterday she also wore a pastel blue jumper dress with Gail Sorronda leggings. No I’m kicking myself not getting a photo of her!

Richard Branson sure knows how to make an entrance, to Sydney. We decided to bask in his glory as Dhini’s show was totally fireworks-worthy also. I am sure that it wasno coincidence that the fireworks occured simultaneously as we cheered with our champagne flutes.
Dhini I am so proud of you. By the end of the show I had the biggest grin on my face and tears in my eyes. We all go through metamorphosis in life and you’ve morphed into a beautiful butterfly. I cannot wait to see the transformation your garments bring to everyone who slips into Dhini pieces. Congratulations my dear.

This First Look blew me away. I was fixated on the colours, the patterns and the length! My customers are going to love this outfit!
Pink and tangerine is a marriage in style heaven. The sharp tailored look oozes sophistication and control. Buttons done-up is so sexy right now.
I don’t think I can pull off the lime shirt but these pants are another story. I will be wearing green pants this spring, with lots of white, crisp shirts and sleeveless blazers.
How many of the front-rowers can you recognise? I sat opposite

You know how I super missed my canine son Theodore whilst we were in Sydney? Next time we are so checking into a pet-friendly hotel, although we are pretty attached to
