You may recall in this post where I raved on about Melbourne eco-lovin’ designer Alex and his organic label SOSUME. (If you don’t, here it is again for ya). I was sent 2 Tees, grey and white. I actually love the white one more because of the cute pocket detail, but I wanted my readers to have the best one. Since youth my mother drummed into me that it’s better to give the best away. I can guarantee you that it will be softest Tee you’ve ever tried. So here’s a warning: you may never want to take it off…
To get you in the mood for a white weekend, here’s my latest take on the milky trend.

It used to be a joke amongst my friends that I should get a granny chain because of my forgetfulness and propensity to lose sunglasses. But recently a beaded glasses chain caught my eye at an op shop and its sheer beauty helped me erase the senility and taboo attached with it. It’s funny how time changes everything and trends can pleasantly surprise you like an anonymous love letter in the mail. The sunnies chain also doubles as a necklace!

Not sure if it’s because I’m attending 2 weddings within 3 days and since there’s no way I can wear white to these events, my rebellious nature has stimulated a desire to take the clean look to the streets. This year I’ve decided that I need to learn to adopt the Celine effect – embrace minimalism and instead of allowing clashed prints and bright colours always take centre stage, let the shapes and lines walk the talk. So if you also feel so inclined and love the colour white (yes it is a colour, ask any colourblind person), I’m giving you the opportunity to win the SOSUME white Vee Tee. All you need to do is share this post on your Facebook wall and Tweet it, and leave a comment below. Simple! The white winner will be announced Wednesday 8th Feb!
Have a wonderful weekend! Come chat if you miss me :) I’m ultra excited about a bestie’s wedding tomorrow. The theme is ‘Spring Runway’!

An exciting day is dawning upon us- so fashionistas, get your iphone, ipad or dairy and mark 19th May White Shirt Day in! This special day is an initiative to raise funds and awareness for Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). This year OCRF have teamed up with Witchery to support this very worthy cause. Witchery has designed an exclusive capsule range of crsip white shirts for men and women, as well as an everyday tote especially for White Shirt Day. The best thing is that Witchery has kindly stated that they will donate all proceeds from the sales to OCRF! Witchery also has created a Silver collection of jewellery and accessories and $5 from each purchase will also go towards OCRF. So generous and chic!
The gorgeous Aussie supermodel Pania Rose (pictured), celebrity chef Justin North, Olympic swimming legend Michael Klim, just to name a few, will be ambassadors of this worthy cause.
It’s awesome that the classic white shirt, with all of its style credentials, will have another major addition to its fashion resume- supporting very important medical reserach for ladies. The queen of classic, the little black dress, better watch out!
I’ve always been a fan of the white shirt, you can see one of my favourite interpretations here. It’s so chic, versatile and totally wearable! So, what will you be teaming that day with your white shirt? I thought I’d prompt us all with a few runway tips :)

My favourite Christmas present last year would have to be the Karla Špetic pink leather clogs, because I’ve been lusting after them since I saw them at the showing 6 months ago! Initially, I was quite resistant to the clog trend, despite the push from Celine and Miu Miu, but as soon as I saw Karla’s pink clogs, I was converted. Plus, they’re super comfy.
I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to wear them and to blog about them, just like the black silk Alldressedup jumpsuit which everyone mistakes for a dress when it is on the hanger.
As you know, I’m a Jumpsuit Girl, they are my dresses. It’s like how Valentino said ‘When in doubt, wear red.’ For me, ‘When in doubt, wear a jumpsuit’. They are super chic, versatile and comfortable. The only downside to them is when nature calls… This Alldressedup romper has a Grecian feel to it so I teamed it up with a vintage belt I got from Milan which I used for a photoshoot a while back, a YSL ring and this white crochet cardigan, made by my mom in her youth. I can’t believe how talented she is!
What’s your stance on clogs and jumpsuits?

Ok before you jump into conclusions, (and come on you should know better than to believe that Chloe would allow Opening Ceremony to collaborate with them)… this is a post dedicated to my new bag, my first-ever non-sale designer bag I bought in Paris. My favourite souvenir from Paris.
It was a big deal for me because I was actually on a mission to get the Celine box bag or a vintage Hermes Constance I’d met at Gabrielle Geppert, see here; but all of Celine’s bags were out of good colours. There was only a navy one left at the Avenue Montagne store.

Man, people go crazy around Paris Fashion Week! So since Celine was off the list, my next favourite was a bright orange one from Dior…I really wanted to get a small shoulder bag because I already have so many totes. But in the end after much debate and a twist of fate, the Chloe Daria bag became mine.
So here’s the opening ceremony:

Peek-a-Boo!

The leather is so soft. It’s so difficult to believe that for such a structured bag, the hide is so buttersoft.

So here it is – my new baby =) Oh and Jessica Alba has one too
