Over the weekend, Lancôme sent me one of their L’Absolu Rouge lippies. I was going to go in store to try some hues and find my colour, but one of their makeup consultants simply took one look of my blog and prescribed ‘189 Isabella Matte’ without ever having met me! What an incredible lady! The colour is vibrant and bold and suits me to a tee. I take my hat off to her!
I just read a book called ‘Eat That Frog’ by Brian Tracy. He provides 21 ideas that help people increase their productivity, performance and output, both in their work arena as well as in their personal life. One of these principles is to leverage one’s special talents. “Determine exactly it is that you are very good at doing, or could be very good at, and throw your whole heart into doing these specific things very, very well.”
The Lancôme makeup consultant has obviously found her gifting. I’m still yet to discover mine…

That shade is beautiful on you, she did pick so well! :)
I always struggled to know what my gift was. I tend to be awkward meeting people but once I know someone I’m really friendly and can talk a little too much, ha! It’s something my friends always said was one of my strengths. I was thrilled to find an online church where I can greet and be friendly to people without that awkward shyness! I’ve had to stop it at the moment as I’m struggling getting a regular time with two boys, but I’m hoping to start it up again soon.
I think styling is one of your strengths for sure! :)
