Last Saturday I courted Dejavu. We met down Memory Lane at Toni & Guy where another favourite Paula Walden headpiece was fixed onto my head. (The only downside to having a bob during the Races is that you need the professionals to help secure your fascinator or it will be gone with the wind) Dejavu grinned at me as I donned another dress by a London label. This time, instead of resembling a giant highlighter (courtesy of Roksanda Ilincic) wearing a bow, I channelled a vase from the Ming dynasty (thanks to Coast London), with butterflies on top. So I took Dejavu by the hand and headed to BECK Caulfield Guineas Day, where fine fashion, fine food and fine company awaited our return.
Paula Walden headpiece / Coast London dress / Habbot pumps / vintage clutch, earrings, gloves + belt
Of course Dejavu convinced me to enter the Chadstone Fashion Stakes again this year. Thanks to my dear friends who nearly gave me a heart-attack with their loud cheers. Although I didn’t make it to the finals, I was so humbled by their support. Guess Dejavu and I must part ways after all. I hope this ensemble has inspired you a little for your very own race outfit. Very special thank-yous to Style Counsel for having me, Cassandra for the Coast London dress, Habbot for my new favourite pumps and Paula for the heavenly head-creation. If I got a dollar every time someone asked me who made my fascinator, I would be sitting in my castle on a remote island buying everything on my wish-list from Net-a-Porter for me and my friends…
Any day is a great day when one's in the excellent company of Jess and Phoebe

The dress is so so amazing.
With the baroque print so ‘in’ these days, this is a perfect example of styling it well.
