Over a year ago I broke my phone. For those who know me well, this comes as no surprise to you, because I suffer from a serious case of butter fingers, and many phones have perished at my hands. Only that this iPhone 6 suffered at my armpit rather than my fingers. To recall the tragedy, please head over [HERE]. The old me would have had the phone repaired before you could throw me a pity party. But because of the epiphany my broken phone taught me, there and then, I was happy to live on with a broken screen.
A year later, a week before my birthday, I joked with hubby that I think I finally ‘deserve’ to have my screen fixed because I have learnt the lesson of patience, and that having a broken screen is not as bad as I once thought. Plus, my trusty phone was becoming increasingly less waterproof.
You may be wondering why there’s a window cleaning bottle in all of these flatlays… I’ve been in search for a phone cover worthy to adorn my iPhone 6 for years. All the generic ones don’t tickle my fancy. But when I saw this Moschino spray bottle phone cover on sale at Net-a-Porter (it’s now 80% off at only $19!), I couldn’t check out fast enough. Sure, you may get some stares at first, but trust me, it’s more quirky than cleaning lady. And it pretty much makes your phone indestructible.
At last, a smooth screen, a cute behind and a nod to a fresh start.
That is a very fun phone case! And such a bargain too! Iphones have all the best cases I find :) I used to have a big rubber elephant one for my old Samsung – definitely helped it be more indestructible when it fell or baby dropped it. I have a new Samsung and haven’t found a similar case which is a shame. So far it’s held up to the toddler though, and it being waterproof has saved it a few times!!!
