Lately I’ve been learning the lesson of patience. We all know that patience is a virtue and it comes from the heart, from love. Well, starting my baby on solids is my new lesson on patience. I was hoping that I could prolong commencing his supplementary feeds because it’s a lot of work not to mention a lot of mess, but Winston is just too energetic. According to the nurse, he inherited that from me.
When I was little, I was a notorious bad eater (oh how the tables have turned! Now there’s no stopping me from eating!), how did my parents endure me? Apparently, my Father would overcome the problem by finishing off the food I refused to eat. Before he ‘fessed up, my Mum always wondered how he had a better knack of getting me to finish dinner.
Well, patience sure played a part in the creation of this outfit. I’ve been waiting 4 yeas for the right pieces to come along to pair with this blush coloured vest dress. It’s probably a reflection of a bad investment on my part, but to give you a little bit of a back story: I was in Paris, my first visit to the Les Petites store, and the salesperson wooed me into it. So when this butter soft Stella & Minx leather skirt came my way, I knew that the wait was over, and it was worth it.
