Edenborough Evans, an Italian Love Affair

by cecylia on October 26, 2011

Ciao bella! Can you believe that it’s actually spring in Melbourne? But the weather here is like a flexible gymnast who is a keen show-off. I had a cold not long ago so have learnt (via the hard way) the importance of keeping warm. So here I am, layered up, in the middle of Spring. I recently found these vintage Moschino pants I’ve had for years (last time I wore them was 3 years ago in Dublin) and have refriended them. The scarf is a new addition from the local op-shop, Italians sure know how to make their knits.

I mentioned an Edenborough Evans necklace I got from Arabella Ramsay in this post. The jewellery are wearable pieces of art blending opulent Florentine designs with Melbourne street style, totally up my alley. Anna Cowen, the designer, is a Melbourne-based Visual Arts graduate who trained in Italy, and has her jewels stocked in boutiques from Paris to New York. One of Edenborough Evans’ devotees is none other than the stunning fashionista Ruby Rose, who is also an avid supporter of fine Australian designers. Here is a closer view of the self-engraved sterling silver necklace, oh no still a little blurry… Hammering ’10 Nov 07′, our wedding anniversary date, onto the plate was no easy feat, but hubby did very well. It really is a test of your concentration skills and a nouveau experience not to be missed!

Outfit: Vintage sunnies, Chloe jacket (last seen here), Miss Sixty jumper, Moschino pants, Edenborough Evans necklace, vintage ivory/tassel necklace (last seen here), Damselfly ring, vintage scarf, Repetto shoes

Hammer your very own Edenborough Evans necklace at the whimsical Arabella Ramsay store

See Edenborough Evans’ full collection on their online store here, trust me you are in for a treat!

And by the way, for those of you who are wondering why I never talk about my boutique anymore, you can find out why here. I’m fine, don’t worry about me, I just feel so incredibly blessed by the whole experience and for your amazing support. So thank you so much dear ones. And who knows what the future may hold for Cecylia? Guess you’ll just have to keep reading and find out :)
