It feels like I’ve not blogged for a lifetime. Ok, it’s only been a solid 3 weeks since my last post but it seems like an eternity had passed. I guess a lot has happened since we last spoke.

When I went overseas, I had grand hopes of putting my heart to paper, or should I say, my thoughts to screen. I even lugged around the camera and laptop but I literally had no time to type. Every waking moment was spent with people. Ok, so I did fit a 2 hour massage in there somewhere but even that was a group activity. When we were in Singapore, there was a day when we caught up with 18 people! It was such a surprised and a privilege,  because even though I’ve not invested into their lives for over 4 years. they took time out of their busy schedules to see me. To each and every one of you, I thank God for you.

Because I couldn’t keep up the blog whilst I was away, I almost decided to shut it down. If I can’t create content when I’m on holidays, when I theoretically should have the most time, then how am I supposed to sustain it when I get back into reality? So in the past week, ‘to blog or not to blog’ has been a hot topic.

Thankfully, through the encouragement of many friends and the words from a stranger, I have decided to keep going. The stranger said to me: “Surely you have too many blessings from God not to share?” It pierced my heart. For too long Cecylia.com has been about me: what I wear, where I go, what I do, it’s even named after me. You can’t get more superficial and narcissistic than that. I apologise for all the photos of me too. But something is going to change. I’m going to share from the heart. I’m going to tell you the amazing things God has done in my life in transforming me. Because He is too good to not to share!

Thank you for your patience and encouragement these past 3 weeks. I cannot wait to begin this new adventure with you!
