After the warm soak at Peninsula Hot Springs, we were just about ready for a nap. So when we arrived at our  Aquabelle apartment, upon seeing the king sized bed complete with duck-down-filled, karate-chopped pillows, I almost melted into a heap in my jeans-and-jumper combo. But a complimentary block of Lindt dark chocolate on the bedside table helped change my mind. So instead, I made a cuppa and slipped into something more comfortable.

This is my lounge outfit. The Stella & Minx silk dress can be dressed up or down. I’ve worn it to an event before but it’s also super comfy to lounge around in.

I was given this Soon Maternity cardigan for Mother’s Day. It is the longest and most luxurious cardi I own. Anything with angora gets my heart aflutter. It is so snuggly I’ve even worn it as a wrap dress! It lies at the foot of our bed to keep me warm when I feed Winston in the middle of the night. Good quality pieces made from natural fibres are sure worth the investment. Plus, they don’t have fashion ‘used-by-dates’. 

For our couple+Winston getaway, we had the pleasure of staying at Apartment 7, one of Aquabelle’s architect-designed studio apartments. Aside from the modern interior designer look and New-York loft vibes, I was delighted to discover that a porta-cot was supplied for our baby! So thoughtful! That, and the healthy block of dark chocolate set me off to a sweet start to the weekend!
