You know how people say that in order to bake a good cake you need quality ingredients? Well it’s kinda the same with those wishing to travel in style. You need quality equipment. I had the pleasure of travelling with our newborn to Sydney for fashion week recently. And these are the 5 things that made our lives so much easier.

1. Let’s start with the pram. Every good pram deserves a travel case. Without proper protection, Winston’s mode of bedding and transport may have carked it in transit. Imagine a missing wheel or a damaged connector…*shudder* I can’t think of anything worse/useless than having a broken pram. #firstworldproblem

Plus, did you know that having a pram case is like having free luggage? Well, within reason of course. I included an umbrella and a magazine in ours. I usually bring magazines in my carry-on bag but this time my hands were full with a baby…

Even after watching this Bugaboo travel case tutorial video I couldn’t figure out how to pack our Bugaboo Cameleon, so thank God that my husband is good with ‘origami’.2. A well-designed Nappy Bag. All these months I’ve been lacking a good looking nappy bag. I gave up on my quest for one until this Soon Maternity nappy bag came my way. It is so big I could have fitted Winston in it! Plus it has about 6 pockets for baby things and a detachable zipper pouch which doubles as a clutch, for my travel essentials. Not to mention a very handy matching padded change mat! To be honest, now I wish I got the black version instead. 3. A chic outfit: I chose this monochrome set from Feathers for 3 reasons. It’s ultra comfortable it’s like wearing pajamas. It’s breast-feeding friendly, a very important feature for the plane ride. Your baby (and the other passengers) will thank you for it. And thanks to its fabrication, this pant set is both drool-friendly and machine-washable. I can’t think of a better outfit to travel in style with a newborn in.

4. Comfy flats. Need I say more? You’ll be doing a lot of walking with a baby in tow, save the heels for a later date. Or better still, for a date.
5. And last but not least: a pair of sunglasses. No one can tell if you’re sleep-deprived when your eyes can rest behind a pair of handsome shades. Either that, or apply a generous slab of concealer…

让我们从婴儿推车说起。所有好的推车都值得拥有一个旅行袋。要是没有好的保护，Winston的床/交通工具可能会在旅途中受损。想象一下或者少个轮子或者连接器坏掉。。。*想想都打颤* 我想不到还有什么比一台坏的推车更糟糕/更没用。#第一世界的问题

再说了，你知道推车袋是免费行李吗？在可能的情况下，我把一把雨伞和一本杂志放在里面。我通常把杂志放在手拎行李但这次我双手要抱一个宝宝。。。

一个设计很好的妈妈包。这么多月我都没有一个好看的妈妈包。在我要放弃寻找的时候Soon Maternity的妈妈包来了。它大到我都可以把Winston放进去！它有六个口袋可以放宝宝用品，外加一个可拆卸的拉锁包可以当手包用，装我出行必需品。更不用说还有一个配套的更换垫！老实说我现在希望我有的是黑色的。

一套别致的服装：我选择这套Feathers的黑白套装有三个原因。它非常舒服好像穿着睡衣。穿它可以母乳，这点坐飞机的时候很重要。你的宝宝(还有其他乘客)都会感谢你。还有它的材质，这套衣服不知可以流口水在上面还可以机洗。我想不到还有比这更好的服装和新生儿一起出行了。

舒适的平底鞋。还需要我说更多吗？你要和宝宝一起走很多路，高跟鞋还是留到以后吧。或者约会时再穿。

最后但同样重要的是：一副太阳镜。当你的眼睛在一副帅气的墨镜后面时没人看得出你是否几度缺觉。或者你也可以吐大量的遮瑕膏。。。
