First of all, I have to thank my dear friend Jin for providing me with this cute title. She is fully aware of my obsession with a certain computer game I used to play as a teenager as well as my love of Greek mythology. Titan Quest was my tool for procrastination during my uni days. And Clash of the Titans was one of my favourite films from ‘antiquity’. Sorry Sam Worthington, I’m referring to the original version, made in the 80s.
Trust the clever Nicola Finetti to artfully combine two major trends together in this dreamy concoction. You wouldn’t think that tartan and monochrome could appear so blissfully in material matrimony now would you? I am head over heels in love with the splicing on this dress. It reminds me of a certain tartan number from the late Alexander McQueens’ AW06/07 collection, bless his soul. You an also wear this frock trans-seasonally. When the mercury drops, layer it with a white shirt or a black skivvy, add a shrunken leather jacket and lace up boots and you’ll be able to wear it from Nice to Norway. Just remember to slip on some sheer opaques to keep up with the Scandinavians.
Where: the local neighbourhood
Wear: Nicola Finetti Dress / Baron Y Necklace / Vintage Baseball Cap / Chloe Python Pumps
You look fantastic dear! ;)
