I know I can easily pass as a blind busker here if it weren’t for the lavish backdrop and the luxe boho outfit I’m sporting. I still miss those duck-down karate-chopped pillows and the ginormous king size bed at the Park Hyatt Melbourne. You may have figured from my poses, I cannot actually play the guitar. I’d love to learn one day, maybe when Winston’s a little older? But then again, everyone’s been telling us that when bubs get older, they demand more of your time and attention. So maybe I should strap Hubby down this weekend so that he can teach me. 
I used to think that learning new things was reserved for young people, but since my epiphany, expressed in this post, I want to learn new things every day. Whether it is a new word, a new recipe, a new route, or even a new instrument… Instead of making our brain cells think that we’re done with learning, it’s so good to know that new cells are generated every time we do something different! It certainly makes our lives more interesting, exciting and exhilarating! What new tasks will you take on, and what will you do differently this weekend?

以前我曾认为学习新的东西是年轻人的事，但最近我醒悟过来，每天都应该学到新东西。无论是新的单词，新的食谱，新的驾驶路线，甚至是新的乐器。。。不要让我们的脑细胞认为我们已经停止学习了。我们越锻炼头脑，学新的知识，做一些不同的事，甚至换一个方法做，新的细胞就会产生！这多奇妙啊！这种生命会多有意思啊！这个周末你会采取哪些新的‘手段’来做一些不同的事呢？[/spoiler]

It’s a great idea to have a goal to learn something new every day :) Playing the guitar would be a great skill to have! :) I used to be able to play, I played in a few concerts at school, but it was so long ago I’ve forgotten it all, haha!
