Emerald City

I’ve had this green coat for years, one of my first and favourite vintage purchases, and it cost me a song! The Italians sure know how to create chic knitwear. I wore it last year when I went to the Martin Grant for Qantas Launch (where you can read up on my travel tips). I suspect this green coat is going to become an heirloom as its bright colour and classic shape probably will never date. Ever. It’s no wonder that Pantone chose emerald as the colour of 2013 because it symbolises renewal, rejuvenation and growth. Well, the baby bump sure is growing steadily…

Pregnancy Week 26 Outfit: Vintage Coat / Betty Browne Dress / Chloe Necklace / Vintage Earrings, Ring & Clutch / YSL heels

I’m currently writing this post whilst sipping on a green tea in the Qantas Business Lounge. Due to the time difference between the US and Australia, this Wednesday post may be live before we land. So, thank you so much once again for all of your bon voyage messages. Please keep in touch via the comments below and our social media channels. It’s been so long since I’ve been on a holiday, I’m so excited about visiting Disneyland tomorrow and literally have to stop myself quivering like I’m suffering from a seizure. Hubby said this leg of the US trip is a treat for my birthday. But I joke and say it’s so that we won’t need to take MiniKee to Disneyland in the future, as it’s coming with us on the trip already…

I hope you are all well and having a beautiful week. Let me know if there are any places you would like me to visit in LA so I can take photos for you :)

Hope you have the most amazing trip abroad and I’m sure you’ll find you’ll want to return back to Disneyland very soon after setting foot there and lucky you since you have a baby you can use as an acceptable excuse LOL!

Enjoy

Thank you so much Sonia! Indeed, we’ve missed Disneyland since Hong Kong! :) Not sure if we will take MiniKee though, I’m not a fan of babies on planes :D

That is such a lovely knit, definitely a heirloom piece. I wonder if baby will be wearing it or passing it on? hmm….haha. Your tummy looks lovely :)

Have an absolute ball on your trip – I’m looking forward to seeing more insta snaps from you! Especially Disneyland :)

Hi Mica, I already have a lot of merchandise from our HK Disneyland adventure, plus it’s > 30 degrees here so extra clothes/accessories are a little obsolete :D But still having so much fun and I refuse to wilt :D

Love the sweater! The color is gorgeous and I love the detail of the knitted buttons. I love that you wore simple black pieces because it really makes the sweater stand out. I hope you have an amazing trip to the US! There’s so much for you to see! I love Disneyland so much. I’m assuming you’re going to California for this, so make sure you also get a pass for California Adventurers. It’s a theme park right next to Disneyland and you can get a day pass that lets go between both parks. : )
