With Dasha (The Trendspotter), Erica (Melb Girl) and Sarah (Sarah Style Emporium)
Last night, despite the wintery chill and the soggy downpour, a vast number of fashionistas attended the annual Stonnington Spring Fashion Runway show at Malvern Town Hall. I dressed up as a Yeti to keep warm, but thankfully, once inside, spring was in the air. Or at least, the heating was adequate enough to help us day-dream. I was so excited be inspired by the fresh looks created by our Melbourne designers for SS13/14 for the impending babymoon trip. Here are a few of my firm favourites. First up, bold and fun prints from Gorman. Congratulations to Lisa Gorman who was proudly inducted into the Stonnington Fashion Hall of Fame.
Last night, Lisa Gorman described the Gorman girl to be independent in her thinking, into culture, likes to dine out but also enjoys cooking. Definitely a girl who knows how to have fun but is also highly intelligent. Did I just catch you nodding your head there? :)
This pinafore outfit by Honor Among Thieves makes me wish MiniKee could be born soon so I can rock some denim overalls! So achingly hip. And I’m not referring to pelvic girdle pain.
These 2 eye catching outfits from Trelise Cooper would be perfect for the races. For the lady with a wicked sense of humour. I would wear them to the Grand Prix too :)
With Miranda (The Style Gallivanter) and above, Iolanthe (Ruby Slipper) and Annabelle
I wore an Unreal fur jacket, a Keepsake dress, vintage clutch, necklace and Lovisa rings. To be honest, I usually choose the real thing over faux fur (go on, scold me, shame on me, the vet and all…), but this shaggy jacket is so warm I’m seriously considering sleeping in it. If one day I was to become homeless and petless, I’d still be ok. It’s as soft as Theodore!
Have a fabulous weekend! I’m off to see Monet’s Garden at the NGV tonight, vetting over the weekend, going to a friend’s wedding, cramming in a photoshoot and doing some last minute packing for our trip!
You were seriously the best dressed that night! I can’t believe how avant garde and stylish your look is!
