Olivia Marcheline choker / Vintage top & belt / Spijkers en Spijkers shorts / Mettle Fair Trade pyramid bag / Tom Gunn heels
When you’ve got a good thing, you’ve gotta share it. I borrowed this gold pyramid bag for a shoot on Thursday and before you know it, it’s already on the blog! I’m a sucker for ancient cultures, in particular the ancient Greeks (our dogs, Theodore and Pluto, all have Greek names, and if I have kids, you bet they’ll be named after the Greeks too) and the ancient Egyptians. How can you go past the gold jewellery and the heavy eyeliner? Not to meantion all the mythologies, mysteries and mystiques! Here’s a thought for the day: did Pharoah wear a bolero? I may not be wearing one, but I’ll carry a pyramid any day, even it can’t fit anything other than a lipstick and gum in it. And after seeing all your likes on Instagram, it seems that the golden prism has immense captivating power. Someone mistook it at first for chocolate, hence the “Toblerone” reference. On second thought, it would also make a cute party hat, and a handy self-defence weapon. In case you were walking down the streets in the dark. All alone. In high heels…

Oh my gosh, I didn’t even realise it was a purse until I scrolled to the bottom of the page WOW that is super cool, its a mystery in its own right! haha. I am so obsessed with ancient cultures too, you’ve totally pulled off all the glitz and mystery that goes with them!

indeed, see? Great minds think alike :D Thank you so much, this was rather low key (Kee) really but the main feature is the bag!
That is a great bag and thank you so much for sharing. Also I love your choker and beautiful vintage top!
Pleasure! I had to show everyone how amazing Mettle Fair Trade was!
Even more in love now that I’ve seen it on the blog! Love the clean lines – I don’t think there’s anything this won’t go with. I’ll take one, please ;)
Indeed it is so beautiful crafted. That’s right, gold goes with nearly everything!
That is one of the most amazing clutches I’ve seen – and having it do double duty as a party hat makes it slightly more practical despite it’s small capacity, hehe! :)
