It was my 2 year penchant at Miss Sixty that I developed a taste for good jeans, previously I never used to wear them. Now I have over 20 pairs in an array of colours and cuts. Levi Strauss were the original denim makers but nowadays, designers from every corner of the world are including jeans in their collections. No one can get enough of a good cut, good hue and good fit of a pair of good jeans. If you have a good figure, any pair will look good on you, but for women with a bootie, I liked the Miss Sixty jeans because they catered for women with curves. Miss Sixty jeans helped ladies to have a shapely derriere and the jeans did not show any garments underneath when they sat down. Miss Sixty jeans always had big pockets on the back so that the wearer’s bottoms, in contrast, appeared smaller. They are mostly made in Italy, the home of good craftsmanship and the best quality cotton.
How cool is this lady? I love her indigo boyfriend jeans, rips and all. Oh check out her yellow nail polish!
Elegantly distressed denim. I love her cream blazer and the 2 tone platform shoes. Definitely a model, judging by that figure. Her necklace is cute too, is that a reindeer sweater she’s sporting?
This hip lady seems to be wearing a pair of Diesel high-waisted jeans with brass buttons and rolled cuffs. Simply stunning. Love her Louboutins and the simple black singlet.
Here is the gorgeous Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes wearing rolled-up jeans made with different panels. This young lady is a genius at mixing up. Her outfits are very unique and reflect her personal eclectic taste. Love her bejeweled sandals, tripe-combo bracelets and the tie-dye Marni tote.
Cute Ksubi denim overalls! Skinny overalls are really flattering on. Oh, do you know the origin of the word ‘denim’? Denim is a cotton twill weave fabric of white and blue threads which originated from the French town of Nimes, hence the origin of the word – serge (twill fabric) de Nimes.
I found this Street Chic picture from Elle.com. I just adore the relaxed and cool style this girl oozes. The ironic thing is that she seems to be carrying a Birkin with her dressed-down outfit. She looks a little like Jenna Elfman.
Tres chic, tres Parisian. This beautiful blonde was shot by The Sartorialist, wearing denim on denim. Although not a look I usually sport or favour, I have to give both thumbs up for this lady. This look has made a comeback in the SS10 shows. I just need to find my old denim shirt from the back of my closet.
Love the third and fifth the most!
