I recently purchased this sweet blue blouse from Ebay. Blue is not my favourite colour but this baby blue hue has won me over. (Yes, I am a romantic at heart). It is heavenly soft and very feminine. I am definitely including it in my holiday wardrobe.

Since it is so sweet, I thought I would pair it up with some black bottoms just to toughen it up a little.

A Balamin silk crepe hardware skirt? The detailing of this pencil skit is amazing. I think the fitted style of this skirt would provide a nice contrast to the flowing ruffles around the waist of my blue blouse.

Some Charlotte Ronson leather pocketed shorts? A pair of leather shorts is on everyone’s must-have list. The perfect trans-seasonal piece that will keep on loving you back. These high-wasited shorts are adorable.

Or a pair of Maje suede harem pants? I am really into the slouchy-cool look right now- looking stylish without trying at all. Add some gold flat sandals and we’re good to go.

Waiting in the 10 minute queue to have a 3 course dinner at the oldest restaurant in Paris, Le Procope, I’m fresh from the shower, makeup-free. I am wearing an outfit from Switerland. The sunny jumpsuit is acquired from the Salvos and patent leather gladiators from Bern, mother-of-pearl bangle from Zurich flea market, vintage belt from Melbourne and cardigan from Country Road.

Do you ever feel like splurging out on a bag every now and then? I do, but thank God that Net-A-Porter is in pounds and I am not over-paid, I have been able to fight off my obssesive urge to purchase a bag. Recently, on hot Ebay fever, I discovered a gem. I was blessed enough to come across a vinyl 2 story hangbag that is in absolute mint condition! There is only one small tear (shown in the second photo) on the inside of the flap. It was beautifully wrapped in tissue papar (browny points from me for taking good care of vintage pieces) and when I opened the package, I was far from disappointed at my winning purchase.

As you can see, the handbag is composed of two comparments – top and bottom. The top ‘floor’ to hold the necessities- wallet, phone, keys, glasses, sunnies. I hope they can all fit!

Peekaboo!

Here is the lower ‘floor’. There is a mirror to scare its viewer of her reflection. This must be the make-up department. Instead of using it as a mirror I may use it as my ‘noticeboard’ for posted-notes.
Having only paid for a tiny fraction of the cost of a designer bag, I am delighted with my new Anti-It Bag. Why covet Versace, when you can have vinatge?

Mommy went to the market one morning and came home with this black curly-whirly bowl. I hope it’s not my new bed…it feels really stiff and uncomfortable. I am worried. I am soft and that’s hard. Is she going to put my blankie in it?
