I love taking Shop Chic photos of our gorgeous customers, here are a few well-dressed ladies that was caught with our lens.
I love the Egyptian Isis pendant she’s wearing and her hip/grungy look.
’3′s a party!” There’s no better way to spend a day shopping, except shopping with your besties. Shopping should be an experience, not just a transaction. We have 5 senses and they are all important when it comes to shopping. We feel more comfortable in a warm, fragrant store with friendly greetings and good customer service, we all enjoy running our fingers through luxurious fabrics and seeing how these garments flatter our figures. These are a few things that online shopping cannot offer. Also, you can’t take your best friends online shopping.

I love dressing our mannequins so much that I’ve added ‘Mannequin dressing’ to one of my hobbies now. These girls make us proud, somehow they manage to make every 3rd walk-on-by stop to have a closer look at them. At first I thought because our windows weren’t clean, but I think it’s because of their outfits.

At a previous post I told you about Karla Spetic’s Lily skirt, well now I will introduce to you ‘Olivia’, the jacket. You will see it been worn by our first Miss Mannequin, see below.
The second one is wearing a cashmere-blend coat by Karla Spetic. It’s the only one in the store. Underneath is anAlldressedup silk top with braid, which was show-cased on our Shop Chic Blog here, and these hot Spijkers en Spijkers pants.
Miss Mannequin on the right is proud to show case Gail Sorronda’s Chrysalis jacket. It is a silk dinner jacket with dramatic shoulders and sheer sleeves. I would wear it down the street with jeans in broad daylight. Some pieces deserve multiple appearances in life. The rose starry dress is also by Spijkers en Spijkers.
See the gorgeous print? You would have seen it on the Lily skirt too.
This is Meg the Merino wool knitted cardigan, worn upside down. I actually like it even more this way. It’s more quirky and avant garde. I’m wearing the Lily skirt and my Marc Jacobs shoes again.
Another highlight this week is that we got chocolate mint cupcakes! New flavour alert! Come and try one or they’ll be gone! The weather’s been dreadful in Melbourne, it is so nice to see some colours injected into our wardrobes.

This is Evane, our very first customer at Cecylia. Evane was down from Canberra when she visited our not-yet-opened boutique. At her private viewing of all of our SS10 stock, she snatched a few pieces from Alldressedup. Here she is in her beautiful mustard silk top and the gorgeous hand-made silicon and perspex necklace (yes it is a one-off). She is undoubtedly the chic-est lady in Canberra.
