This is the last couple of photos taken at the magnificent Bayside mansion from Unique Estates. I’ve never visited a residence that can boast a marbled roof top bar, a mirrored library, a state-of-the-art kitchen, a serene Master ensuite complete with a Carrara egg bath, a pool decorated with Grecian columns, a 500-bottle cellar and a four level lift!
Call me strange, but what I love the most about this place (aside from the C.J. Hendry portrait) is the stairs. They’re my favourite form of incidental exercise. Two years ago, we moved from a townhouse to a house. I’ve been having withdrawals ever since.
In all seriousness though, as someone who adores having people over, playdates, brunches, lunches, dinners, tea parties, you name it, I would love to have a house as entertaining-friendly as this. The open plan living room and fully-stocked kitchen and cellar makes it a dream for hosting parties. And don’t get me started on the roof top bar for ocean-gazing and star-watching…
After all, it is the people who make a house a home.

Oh that skirt is beautiful! :)
It’s funny, I feel all I do all day is run up and down stairs so I’d love a house on one level next time, haha! Split level living is tiring, especially when you’re carrying babies and toddlers up and down!
