Sorry I missed my post last Friday. Allow me to explain. On our way home from Sydney on Thursday night, I had grand plans to get back unpack, do the laundry, edit photos and videos and have my post up by Friday morning. Yeb, grand plans. However, much to my surprise, our flight was delayed by a couple of hours, we didn’t get home until the wee hours of Friday morning, and only to come home to a flooded room. Which room you ask? My wardrobe room, of course. But thankfully, the waters just missed my prized possessions and everything was left untouched. God is good.
I promised that I’d show you photos from our Airbnb apartment in Sydney. Our host was so lovely, she even picked us up from the train station and helped out with our luggage. It was a dream of a place, our sanctuary away from home. Although it was 1.5 km away from Carriageworks, where fashion week shows were held, I didn’t mind hiking 3 times daily (I needed to come back every 3 hours to feed Winston) because I needed the cardio. And this is what made it all worthwhile…
As I’ve told you, there’s been quite a number of spanners in the works during our stay in Sydney, but we’ve also experienced many miracles. Despite dropping and shattering my phone which resulted in a cavity in the screen, the phone still works. Despite contracting some serious food poisoning which resulted in me being sick in public, on a bus, in a bag, yeah classy stuff, hubby and bubby were unaffected. Thank you Karen for praying for me for complete healing. I got back onto my feet within a day, as these photos can testify. God is so good. Despite missing some appointments because I was nearly cactus, I bumped into the very people I wanted to meet, no prior scheduling/appointments or anything. Way too miraculous for sheer coincidence? Non? Despite missing some shows I’d highly anticipated, I was blessed with this stunning Alice McCall 10 year Anniversary show. The clothes, the set, the music was too good to not be shared. So I cut it together over the weekend for your viewing enjoyment.
And oh, thanks to the flooding, I finally started seriously detoxing my wardrobe. So, if you need any clothes, shoes or bags, drop me a note.

The apartment looks lovely!
Such a shame to hear your room flooded, how terrible! I’m glad your wardrobe survived though – you have so many nice pieces it would have been tough to replace them all. Definitely made for an eventful trip with everything that happened I guess :)
thanks Mica, yeah most of my clothes are irreplaceable- being vintage and limited designer pieces :D But one day I’ll have to let go of them…
