One thing I regret when we stayed at the Park Hyatt Melbourne a few weeks ago is not taking a dip in the pool. To swim in the azure waters would have been the perfect morning exercise, especially before indulging in the hotel’s breakfast buffet, but like most parents with a newborn, I chose sleep. Plus, I’m a terrible swimmer. Turns out that I’m the only one in both sides of my family who can’t swim like a fish. My mom’s favourite hobby was swimming in her local river. Hubby used to try to impress me with his under-water breath-holding skills. And my father-in-law used to be a life-guard. As for me, I’ve barely mastered doggy paddles. That’s why I’m so glad to see that the Park Hyatt’s pool is equipped with a life buoy. It’s nice to know that help is nearby.
Isn’t it interesting that the life buoy seems just a foolish plastic donut to those on land, but to the one who is drowning, it is life itself? Take the time to treasure the life buoys in your life. Whether it’s your family, your faith, your friends or your favourite song, you never know when your journey might lead you into deep waters where you’ll need a lifeline.

[/spoiler]
Love the gold accessories with the white dress! :)
I’ve been taking advantage of the warm weather and getting a few good swims in – I’m not the best at distance swimming, but I can swim a couple laps in a pool :)
well done Mica! Swimming would be perfect for your bub too!! Ooh I’m so thrilled for you!
