Pregnancy Week 27 Outfit: Equipment Polka Dot Knit / Keepsake Dress / Jil Sander Book Clutch / Miu Miu Heels /Vintage necklace
“How to Modest-ify a Revealing Dress” is what this post should be called. I adore this sassy Keepsake dress (because it actually does my baby bump justice!) but to wear it during the day, in winter, an extra layer is mandatory to prevent both the flu and unnecessary stares. Adding a jumper or a jacket on top would be a shame to cover up the sweet pintucking details, so a top underneath was the only other option. Plus wearing a top under a dress like this is essentially like sporting the pinafore/dungaree trend, but of course this version is more flattering on the pregnant figure as it’s more fitted. And did you notice that this Equipment knit just happen to feature a giant black spot right in the most revealing zone?
So remember this my dears, next time you want to ‘salvage’ a revealing frock, just add a cute blouse or thin sweater underneath and let your youth shine!

Such nice layering! I find it tricky sometimes to get the perfect top to layer under dresses – it has to sit perfectly. But when you do find that winning combination, it’s great for the cooler weather! :)
