This brocade-sweater-cum-boyfriend-jeans-outfit has become my ‘uniform’ last week. It’s so comfortable. I’ve worn it to style a photo-shoot, dine with friends, and attend a 1st birthday. Yes I’ve worn it 3 times in a week (!!!), each time with different accessories, of course. Blame it on Dolce & Gabbana for reinstating the supremacy of brocade into our lives and bringing back black and gold as the must-have colour combo. And somehow I bear an uncanny resemblance to Katie Holmes in the above photo. The world makes sense after all…

I get asked all the time how I fit everything into my life, juggling 3 jobs and a blog. Aside from eating a lot of sugar and hence always being high on life, I do have a little secret… I don’t watch TV. I haven’t watched TV since high school. Not sure if it was because I’m so busy I simply don’t have enough time to watch, or because by not watching TV, I then had more time to play computer games (that’s another story) to be super busy…either way the chicken and the egg are still perched in a conundrum in my case. I hope this post hasn’t made you TV-cidal. Because it’s thanks to the humble set-box that I was first introduced to Miss Holmes in Dawson’s Creek and developed this asymmetric smirk (see first photo).
