As a vet, I’m faced with the tough task of farewelling clients’ pets almost on a daily basis. Certainly not the best part of my job…But an even more taxing task that has been brought to my attention is the demanding duty of planning one’s funeral. Imagine having to sort out the nitty-gritties like catering, dress code, eulogies, flowers, requiem music, venue, and um…coffins? As much as I love Pinterest and dressing up every day and attending events, attending a funeral is definitely on the bottom of the list. The piano keys become blurry as tears disable my hand-eye coordination, wearing black can be slimming but a LBD looks much more chic at a cocktail party. This heartfelt message of “I’d Hate to Plan Your Funeral” has been designed for you and I, and our loved ones. Is there someone you love you would like to ask to slowdown?

Oh what a sad but powerful video. It’s scary just how easily someone’s life can change or end from something that happens behind a wheel of a car.
Little insignificant decisions can make a huge change when you’re travelling at 100k or more. It’s good you’re using your blog to raise awareness of this.
