As mentioned on Instagram (@cecyliadotcom), I had a chop last week at The Laneway. I only just met the owner, Paula for a few minutes, but her warmth gave me so much trust that I said ‘Do whatever you like with my hair!’ and so she did. What do you think? Did my bravery make me a fool or did it pay dividends?
I’ve been searching for a mini bag for a while (in particular this one), and so it was deliciously timely when this cutie found its way onto my radar. Another vintage conquest I am totally besotted with, thanks to its boxy shape and horse motifs! You may have noticed that I’ve been wearing more cameo pieces (the ring was debuted here) as of late, it’s once again a thanks to the influences of the glamorous 20s. Hence why everyone’s talking about The Artist, and I’m taking a trip down memory lane. :)
Can’t remember if this photo was the result of ill-timing or direct sun glare. Murphy’s Law. I headed out to shoot these on a cloudy day, but when I got to the location, the sun decided to join us. Even Theodore needed shades…
Thank you once again Paula for my haircut! If you would like a makeover for your tresses, head to The Laneway and mention me :)

I like the cut — very daring but you definitely pull it off! And Theodore is adorable :)
Theodore is isn’t he? I just hope that I can pull it off for long enough…
Oh wow, your hair looks fantastic. And Theodore is just gorgeous. I’m mum to 2 very large Great Danes (our male is nearly 95kg) so I’m envious you can pick him up for cuddles.
Thank you! Awww you have 2 Great Danes!! That’s amazing!
