Recently I fell in love with yet another talented Australian-made Australian label, Reverie. ‘Reverie’ is French for ‘day-dreaming‘ . It’s so great that there are still talented designers in our country that work with Australian manufacturers. We need to get behind them and support them! Before the Australian fashion manufacturing industry becomes extinct…
Anyway, sorry for the rant, you may have gathered that I’m very passionate about this issue. The Reverie collection is simple, elegant and totally wearable. I am besotted with the blue ‘Elysee blouse’. The silk is so tenderly soft and the hue of the shirt makes it a dream-piece in my wardrobe. It goes with everything! You may recall I even wore it with a pair of trackies a while back, see here.
Recently I went to a friend’s engagement party so I teamed the Reverie silk blouse with my cream cashmere Karla Spetic skirt, a bow necklace I made and an ivory and silk tassel necklace.
I had to get some snaps of some of the stylish guests. This lady’s mustard Lisa Ho jacket is eye candy! Everyone thought it was either Chanel or Chloe.
The new fiancee and I – this stunner purchased her olive Alldressedup silk dress from our boutique.
Amanda was just telling me that she is a frequent reader of my blog, so I had to feature her on it! This smart cookie is a lawyer and an ex-model. Love her tights!
You know I love colour, especially in winter. Colour is the secret ingredient of happiness in our lives.
So what are you all up to this weekend? I’ll be working at the vets and meeting friends for dinners. Hope the weather is mighty fine and you get to spend the weekend with many of your loved ones!
What I’m wearing: Karla Spetic knitted skirt (as scarf), Reverie silk blouse, vintage necklaces, bag and coat, Paula Walden ring, Karla Spetic cashmere skirt, Country Road pumps
Gorgeous pieces. Well-tailored, timeless clothing. Thanks for introducing me to this brand :)
All the pictures and outfits are beautiful! I agree, we need colour in our lives, or we’d be bored. Have a good weekend. xo
Yes we were designed to see colour, so why not enjoy it more! :D
I like the yellow jacked and the accessories she used, also your outfit is very nice

Agreed, beige is the perfect neutral. Not as harsh as black and more interesting than grey
I love your outfits :)
We do need to get behind Aussie designers. You know me… I love colour and totally agree with you.
