With only a month to go until Bub#2 comes into the world, I was beyond surprised to find another non-maternity dress from my closet. I last wore this frothy chiffon Witchery concoction to a friend’s wedding a couple of years back, see [HERE]. Its elasticized silk layers have been rather gentle on my basketball sized bump.
Something funny happened at work the other day. One of the clients asked me if we’d met before. Upon looking at her pet’s history, I replied: “Yes! We met a few months back for Fluffy’s puppy vaccination.” She then proceeded to say: “Have you put on weight?” The old me would have been offended and become defensive. But now that insecurities no longer plaque me, I just chuckled and smiled: “Yes I have! I’m going to have a baby in a month” to which she replied “Oh! I wasn’t sure if you were pregnant.” Clearly, my waddling isn’t as clear as it feels…
I wonder if there are any more non-maternity pieces in my wardrobe that may accommodate this 8 month-old bump… Guess the key is simply trial and error, or should I say “try-on-or-later”! Either way, boy am I looking forward to wearing normal clothes again soon :)

The third trimester is a tricky time to find anything that fits, so well done on finding a great non-maternity option! Can’t believe you only have a month to go, wow! Won’t be long until you have all of your wardrobe available to pick from! :)
