Can you remember how freezing and wet it was last week? All I wanted to do was to curl up in a turtleneck with chocolate by the fireplace. Well, I found just the turtleneck for the job: this limited edition striped wool knit dress from Karen Millen. It’s so soft and effortlessly chic, there are only around 20 in the country!

You may be wondering if this is my house, I wish! Thanks to the unpredictable Melbourne weather, I have been seeking more indoor locations to create photos for the blog. Thanks to Hodges Brighton, Karen and I had the opportunity to do a shoot at this stunning property in Brighton. Just when Karen asked me to step down the porch, it started to pour and shortly afterwards, hail. I stayed put whilst she pranced around in the rain to capture these. That girl, she’ll do anything for photos. At least she has opened my eyes to the romanticism of a raindrop backdrop!

Originally I’d planned to call this post ‘The School Run’ but it looks more like “Honey, I’m home” doesn’t it? It was serendipitous because I don’t have school aged kids, and I fell in love with 25 Lynch St immediately. The photos and the video on the website doesn’t do the house enough justice. I was blown away. It has everything I’ve ever wanted in a house, from ‘facial symmetry’, separate sitting room and study, an abundance of natural light to large outside entertainment area complete with a kitchenette. Oh, and stairs!

I’d have loved to attend the auction on Saturday 23 May but I’ll be in Spain. Just as well, otherwise I may cry, and will have to resort to curling up with chocolate by the fireplace…
[spoiler title=”中文版”]上周墨尔本特别冷。唯一让我能得到微暖的是坐在壁炉旁，收中握着一杯热茶，穿着这见Karen Millen限量版的条纹针织羊毛。它如此柔软，舒服，暖和，全澳洲才有20件！

这不是我的房子，是我梦想中的房子。因为墨尔本的气候日新月异，冬天既冷又下雨，我非常荣幸能与Hodges Brighton饭房地产公司合作。在这所漂亮的房子拍卖的一个星期前，我的摄像师Karen和我在里拍了一些照。刚想跨下前廊，就开始下超大的冰雹。我是害怕雨淋湿的人，但Karen愿意在雨中四处又蹦又跳。为了拍摄到好的照片，她什么都愿意做。不管怎样，她开了我对雨水的眼界：水滴背景真浪漫！

本来我打算叫这篇博客“学校接程’，因为在墨尔本，早上8点和下午3点母亲们都会放弃她们手中的一切，启动她们的大形轿车，踏着油门，一心一意地去接她们的孩子。我没有资格假装当她们因为我每有学龄的孩子。这些照片看起来其实更像是”亲爱的，我回来了“，你不觉得吗？这个主题更适合。

我和25 Lynch 街Brighton是一见钟情。它比网站上的房地产照片和录像拍地还美，还宽敞，还舒适。我一踏进前院就就好像回了家。每间房间都是必要的，这所精心设计的房子具有充足的自然光线，一进门左边是所学习室，右边是个‘正式’的客厅，厨房和生活空间超大，后院有游泳池和另一个室外厨房，还有楼梯，可以说是我梦中想要的房子。

周六5月23日是这所房子的拍卖期。我会在西班牙不能去参加。这是见好事，这样这所房子将永远住在我的梦想中。。。[/spoiler]
